Can “muppet theory” help explain behavioral heterogeneity in human social groups?

I have to admit that I am an “order Muppet”, but I also believe that human societies function in part because of their heterogeneity: we need the optimal mix of different behavioral types in order to realize the full potential of our group adaptations.
